10. Some CSS3

Up until now all the style sheet properties and selectors we’ve been working with have been around for some time. So how about we add a bit of CSS3 flair to our web page:

Before CSS3, adding rounded corners like that would mean fiddling around in Photoshop and saving images that you then apply in awkward ways to your page. Now with CSS3 we can simply use the “border-radius” property, i.e:

article {
   padding          : 15px 15px 15px 15px;
   border-radius    : 10px 10px 10px 10px;
   margin           : 0px 0px 5px 5px;
   background-color : #e1f5a9;
}

Feel free to experiment a bit with this one and you’ll see quite quickly the emerging power of CSS3…once CSS3 is properly defined we’re going to see a shift in the way web sites are created!
